Welcome Back! I have waited for this day for a long long time. The State is back… sort of. The first season of this brilliant and wonderful sketch comedy show from the ’90s has just been released on iTunes. You get 5 great episodes of comic purity for 10 bucks. The rumor is that if this goes well, MTV will then release every season on DVD. I urge all of you to buy this first season from iTunes. Not only is it hilarious, but it’ll prove that The State is deserving of a wider release. The video files from iTunes look great, and they can go on an iPod. Well worth the $10. Please please, write a review, write your congressman, get The State released on DVD. This show is too marvelous to get lost forever.
For those that don’t know, The State was created by the same sick minds that brought you Viva Variety!, Reno 911, Stella, and Wet Hot American Summer.
