Teachers – Festival Screenings

I have some more info pertaining to our entry in the New York Television Festival. We know when the show will be screening! Come on down to the festival and support us. We could use it. It will be showing:

Saturday, September 13th
Stage 3 @ 5:00 PM

Wednesday, September 17th
Stage 3 @ 3:45 PM

The NYTVF takes place at:

New World Stages
340 W 50th St. b/t 8th and 9th Ave
New York, NY 10019

Admission is free, but you must reserve tickets online, which they are telling us will go up the first week in September (aka next week). Here’s a link to the box office, but the tickets aren’t up yet. Passes are, if you want to buy them. Invite your family, friends, enemies, acquaintances, colleagues, mentors, rulers, and anyone else that likes to laugh – the theater has seating for 500 people and we want to sell it out!

Single tickets for “Teachers” screenings are now available if you click on the link below.

There is a small $3.50 handling charge for each order placed (not per ticket), so try to get all the tickets you need in one visit. Otherwise you might end up paying for multiple handling charges. Multiple handling charges!!

    Hope to see you there.

I got to attend the festival yesterday. TEACHERS was great! We saw 9 of the comedy premieres, and TEACHERS was by far the best. Very well written, well acted, camera work was outstanding. The theatre was probably 3/4 full and the show generated LOTS of laughs and much applause. It was nice to meet Jim Garvey and the director. We also met little Alexander! Keeping fingers crossed for the show.

Saw Teachers last night and I have to say that I laughed from the beginning to the end. I’ve worked as a teacher and now in the board office and you captured some of the characters that we deal with everyday. The film looked like a major network show. Very professionally done and you left me wanting to see more of these characters and ended with lots of great potential for future story lines. Great job. I hope it gets picked up. I could see this show appealing to quite a lot of people and is much more fun than most of what is on TV right now. You’ve got my vote.
