The Bailout
I’ll be the first person to admit that I don’t understand the government bailout. Sure General Motors is a huge American corporation and there’s no telling what would happen to this economy (what else could happen?) if a company of that magnitude folded.
But the first thing I said to myself after reading this headline was… “Fuck You.”
How ’bout you guys?
Lack of foresight and bad decision-making. Back in the mid-90′s, GM could have focused more of their resources on designing affordable alternative energy vehicles, but they decided to make and sell more SUV’s instead. Big Oil supposedly had a lot of influence on this matter. Worked out well for them. Not so much for Detroit.
Fuck cars. This country should be investing more money into the two industries that really matter: porn and nachos.
You forgot beer. That rounds out the real big three.
